Since our previous update, we have continued contacting additional decision-makers across the cosmetics and luxury sectors regarding the presence of endocrine disruptors in consumer products and the industry’s responsibility to address these concerns transparently.
To date, we have not received substantive responses.
Again, silence persists.
And frankly, this silence is increasingly difficult to understand.
The questions being raised concern consumer safety, transparency, and public health. These are issues that should encourage discussion, clarification, and collaboration — not avoidance.
If there are explanations to provide, consumers deserve to hear them.
If there are concerns being evaluated internally, consumers deserve to know how.
If improvements are possible, they can only emerge through open dialogue.
Today, we are expanding the list of individuals we have contacted — professionals whose positions give them the ability to influence decisions, initiate reviews, and promote greater accountability:
–Aurélie Guimard, Head Of Sustainability Europe & Middle East Chanel
– Véronique Kowandy Project Manager of Formula Development at Chanel
These are individuals with influence, responsibility, and access to the information necessary to help clarify how these issues are being addressed internally.
As always, we are not making accusations.
We are documenting facts.
The fact is that important questions have been raised.
The fact is that consumers are seeking answers.
The fact is that, so far, many of those in positions of authority have chosen not to respond.
We believe that addressing potential health concerns should be a shared objective. Transparency benefits everyone: consumers, regulators, researchers, and companies alike.
Consumers have the right to:
– Know what is in the products they use
– Receive clear and transparent communication
– Understand how potential health concerns are being evaluated
– Expect accountability from the companies they support
We remain open to constructive dialogue.
We remain ready to publish any response received.
Until then, we will continue documenting who engages — and who does not.
Because transparency should not depend on pressure.
And public health should never be an afterthought.
More updates to follow.
