Following our previous outreach to L’Oréal, LVMH, and Hermès regarding the presence of endocrine-disrupting substances in cosmetic products, we have continued this campaign by contacting Chanel.
To date, we have received no response.
Once again, despite the seriousness of the concerns raised, despite the scientific evidence available, and despite the public health implications involved, silence remains the only answer.
We believe consumers deserve transparency. They deserve to know whether the brands they trust are willing to engage in meaningful discussions about the safety of the products they use every day.
Our objective has never been confrontation for its own sake. We are asking for accountability, transparency, and a clear commitment to addressing legitimate concerns surrounding endocrine disruptors in cosmetics.
Chanel now joins the growing list of major industry players who have chosen not to respond to our inquiries.
We will continue documenting every step of this campaign.
We will continue reaching out to industry leaders.
We will continue informing the public about which companies engage with these concerns — and which remain silent.
A follow-up communication will be sent.
The absence of a response does not make the issue disappear.
Consumers have the right to ask questions. Companies have a responsibility to answer them.
This campaign continues.
